Back to the blog....
Moving on, it may be time to write again. Last week the UC/OCLC WorldCat local pilot project went "live". Today, Deanna Marcum publicly responded to the Working Group on Bib. Control's report to the LC. I have reduced my carbon footprint with my move to Irvine, very little car use and CSA participation. Unfortunately, Orange Co. does not have the rainforest action groups that the Bay area does so I have taken little action on that front.

BLOG ACTION DAY - The Environment. Wow. Everyone who blogs is asked to write about the environment today.
Just being aware of being in an environment... Interaction... Cause and effect.
Just trying your best not to do harm... Others first... Giving what one can.
The indigenous peoples of the Amazon are losing their environment to wealthy oil companies exploiting and destroying it for hungry petrol consumers with huge vehicles. Do the consumers know that they are driving over the bodies of people, animals and forest? Do they realize that the air they breathe is cleansed by the Amazon rainforest and is poisoned by the vehicle emissions?
What would change if they did? ~C
